โ†ณ SET-UP

  • Give 5 cards to each player, 2 Personality and 3 Traits Cards.
  • Shuffle the remaining purple and orange cards together to form a single deck. For now, put it aside, face down.
  • Shuffle the Action Cards and put them aside as well, face down, ready for the game to start.

โ†ณ HOW TO PLAY

  • Each player should take a minute or two to get familiar with their cards (5 per person; don't show them to others) - to get to know the characters and their superpowers.
  • The first player (up to you to decide who starts) takes the Action Card from the top of the pile, places it on the table face up, and reads its content aloud.
  • All players now must try to perform the required action (no matter if they play one of the personality or the trait card).
    • IMPORTANT: All players must place their cards face down. This ensures that nobody can predict another player's move before performing their own. Only when all cards from all players are on the table does everyone flip them over at the same time to see the assigned points
  • After the first action is done, the player to the left takes a new Action Card from the pile. Again, they place it face up on the table and read it out loud for everyone. Then, all players try to perform the new action together.

โ†ณ HOW AND WHEN THE GAME ENDS

The game is over when all the Action Cards have been read and performed. Then, each plater checks their victiry pile, and calculate the total points per card. The one with the highest number wins.

โ†ณ WHAT IS THERE TO WIN

  • A good time spent with your loved ones.
  • Some inspiration from the Action Cards.
  • And... who knows, maybe some bounty as well, if you decide on such an extra rule within your group.

  • Example:

In the given example, let's say, that one player put LoKo (Brave +5), and the other one JoJo (Brave +3).

The owner of LoKo wins the round since he has +5 for his bravery. The winner collects both cards to his/her victory pile, giving 13 points in total (+7 for LoKo and +6 for JoJo per card).

Now, let's imagine we have 3 players. One of them does have the HODLnaut (one of the Magic Cards), and claims his trait to be Bravery. This would give us: LoKo with Brave +5, JoJo Brave +3, HODLnaout +5.

Who wins? See, the owner of LoKo and the owner of the HODLnaout had a tie. In this case, they take their cards back and add them to their victory pile. JoJo (who lost) stays on the table for another round (the winner of which will get it as a bonus card).

And, what if a player doesn't have a card fitting the required action? No problem. This is what the extra pile with Personality and Trait Cards is for. That player takes one card from that pile and see if it brings them luck.

HOW TO READ THE CARDS?

๐Ÿƒ Personality vs. Trait Cards ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก

Each Satosh Bear has two cards that represent its unique personality.

Let's use HaSHy and ElLiS as examples:

  • HaSHy is Independent (+5), Patient (+4), Strategic (+3), and Focused (+2). Each of these traits has a different value assigned to it, which you can think of as a strength for that trait. All of this is shown on his Personality Card (the orange one), which has a total point value of +7. His nickname is "Solo Striker," and the two main traits that fit this title are presented on his Trait Card (the purple one): Independent and Focused. The sum of these two traits is also +7. This means both of HaSHy's cards have a total value of +7.
  • ElLiS, on the other hand, is: Cheerful (+5), Caring (+4), Insightful (+3), and Vibrant (+2), as seen on the orange Personality Card. Her nickname is "Noble Guardian," and her two main traits for this role are: Caring and Insightful (with values of +4 and +3). The sum of these give the total points both cards: +7.

๐Ÿƒ Magic Cards ๐Ÿ”ฎ

A special category within the Traits Cards (purple). They consist of three types: Friends โ€” combining two mysterious Satosh Bears and their selected traits. HODLnaut โ€” that represents any needed trait at a value of +5. Satoshi โ€” featuring a pair of two traits that could potentially fit his personality.

๐Ÿƒ Action Cards ๐ŸŒš

This pile is what makes the whole game fun and sometimes a bit unpredictable. There are 33 Action Cards in total, all of which aim to share some life wisdom, yet each requires a different type of action.

Some cards will force a strategic move, like playing a Satosh Bear (using either its Personality or Trait Card) or using a Magic Card to fit a specific trait. Other times, they will require you to change a current game rule, think of something creative, and so on.
